Marigold (Tagetes) essential oil, also known as khaki bush or Mexican Marie gold, is commonly used in many Ayurveda practices and traditions from all over the world including Mexico and Australia.
Marigold can been used for anti-parasitic, antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal purposes. In massage therapy, it is suggested to blend with carrier oils (coconut, almond, etc.) due to its high concentration. This oil can also be used in vapor therapy, used to ward off unwanted pests/insects, and potential help treat skin issues in its diluted form.*
All of our oils are made using natural ingredients using traditional extraction methods. We source them ourselves from Kannauj India a city known to have been producing essential oils for the last 7000 years! The images above are from the factory visit in October 2015. Wear some history :).
