I love this scent. It’s a natural extract made from only one lake in Kannauj India. A summer storm in a bottle! The monsoons clearing the dust from the streets in india. This scent has many names — petrichor, mitti, geosmine — and Kannuaj is the only place in the world that I have found that extracts it naturally.
If you’ve ever tried CB I Hate Perfume’s Soaked Earth accord, this smells vastly different. Less humus and more pavement during a summer shower.
This is rare stuff indeed and we bring it directly to you!
All of our oils are made using natural ingredients using traditional extraction methods. We source them ourselves from Kannauj India a city known to have been producing essential oils for the last 7000 years! The images above are from the factory visit in October 2015. Wear some history :).

It came wrapped in a little black cloth, along with a bonus sample of honeysuckle. Both of them smell really nice!

Gorgeous, mystical scent — simultaneously warm and round, but also smokey and peppery. Fantastic tenacity, applied it directly to my wrist just to see and it lasted all day on my wrist through several hand washes. Can’t wait to play with it in my perfumery explorations! This scent is wonderful! Very much like hot, wet cobblestones after a summer rain. It’s earthy, but in a wet stone way (so there’s a coolness to it). It came very nicely wrapped, and shipped very quickly! Highly recommend this shop and this oil!
